About Us

Sunrise Riding School is a IRS registered 501(c)3 (pending) non-profit that exists to provide no-cost horseback riding lessons to help instill confidence to girls who have once felt powerless. We offer recreational and competitive riding opportunities to those who might not otherwise have the chance, and who may benefit from the structure, physical exercise, relaxation, and mostly the confidence that can be built by bonding with a horse.

Horses seek leaders in the herd. We teach girls take charge.

We help clients develop confidence through goal-setting exercises in a positive environment. We are women helping the next generation of women with skills that they can apply to other life situations.

We teach weekly lessons and hold weekend-long immersive clinics.

Our success depends on you. We are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 charity (pending) and your donations may be tax deductible (contact your tax adviser). We team with vendors, individuals, and corporate donors to sponsor individual lessons and clinics.
